What Is Perinatal Mental Wellness? Webinar

While we’re often told all the amazing things about pregnancy and our newfound parenthood, the sleepless nights and stressful days are often minimized.

Pregnancy and the perinatal period after birth can come with an overwhelming amount of emotions, whether you’re experiencing pregnancy and birth, a partner, or simply supporting a loved one. From large hormonal shifts to new responsibilities and a change to your daily structure, this period can be both scary and exhilarating.

Claire Zeschky, Executive Director at Pacific Post Partum Support Society, will help us to understand the common challenges new parents face when it comes to their mental and emotional wellbeing during pregnancy, postpartum, and the first years of parenting, as well as provide practical, realistic ways to support your mental wellness during pregnancy and early parenthood.

If you need support, call or text 604-255-7999 to reach the Pacific Post Partum Support Society helpline. You can also learn more about their support groups by texting or calling 604-255-7999 or going to https://postpartum.org/services/support-groups/
